This filter cartridge is a 100% replacement element having the same fit, form, function and performance as your OEM-filter insert. The 2,5″ (= 63,5 mm) outer diameter x 40″ (= 1.016 mm) length set-up creates a big filter surface, able to capture and hold a lot of solids contamination, such as sand, rust, iron and other (sub-) micronic particles. Moreover, it will be able to handle large flow rates. This cartridge has a Double Open End (DOE) execution.
Its poresize has been set at 1 micron, meaning this element will capture solids larger than 1 micron, gradually building up a “filter cake” enabling it to capture even more, smaller particles.
