This filter cartridge is a 100% replacement element having the same fit, form, function and performance as your OEM-filter insert. The 4,5″ (= 114 mm) outer diameter x 10″ (= 254 mm) length set-up creates a big filter surface, able to capture and hold a lot of solids contamination, such as sand, rust, iron and other (sub-) micronic particles. Moreover, it will be able to handle large flow rates of water.
Its poresize has been set at 10 micron, meaning this element will capture solids larger than 10 micron, gradually building up a “filter cake” enabling it to capture even more, smaller particles. This cartridge has a Double Open End (DOE) execution.
