Description

Our EcoFriendly Filter LGC-R series coalescer cartridges are made up of pleated layers of microglass coalescing media. Careful selection of the media is imperative to insure that the gas stream being processed does not remove the binder in the media, which would result in media collapse and further downstream contamination of the gas.

In order to assure that coalescing of the liquid phase is completed, the media must possess an infinite number of irregular continuous passages of very small diameter. The liquid contamination is being coalesced to a sufficient larger size droplets where it can be removed from the gas stream by gravitational force.

Note that there are different types of media, hardware materials and gasket options available which can be suited to your specific process.

This element is being made of microglass fibers in a pleated style set-up which provides superior, submicronic coalescing performance. As this element is being rated at 0.3 micron, we strongly advise to consider installing a solids pre-filter upstream of these coalescing cartridges, in order to lengthen the life time of these high end elements.

Current leadtime is 5 – 7 weeks.
